What to Expect
Whether or not your furry friend comes to us for daycare or boarding, he or she can still live the high life in our pet spa. Our spa area is spacious with top of the line equipment and high-end products, and they’ll get one-on-one treatment in a relaxing atmosphere, so they’ll leave here feeling as good as they smell!
We offer bath & blow dry, as well as nail trim services as an add-on to your pup’s daycare or boarding experience or as a special treat.
The Best Treatment for Your Best Friend
Our Bath and Blow Dry service includes a thorough bath with a Clean or Clarify shampoo and drying with a high-velocity dryer. We will dry as well as possible based on what your pup will comfortably tolerate; we will not force the issue if they are extremely uncomfortable having their face, ears, tail, etc. dried (or with the dryer in general). An option for De-shedding and/or De-greasing shampoo is available for an additional fee.
Spa Requirements
- Vaccinations: We require all dogs who enter our facility (daycare, boarding, or grooming) to have proof that they are up-to-date on their Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella (given at least 3 days prior) vaccines.
- Please review all terms and digitally sign our required Pet Care Agreement when you register through our online booking portal.
- All dogs must arrive collared, clean, healthy, and flea-free.
- Appointments: Are generally a half hour for small/medium dogs and one hour for large/XL/thick-coated dogs. We will notify you when services are completed and to pick up your dog.
- Pick-ups: Dogs should be picked up promptly after their appointment. If dogs are not picked up within 90 minutes of notification, a daycare charge may be added.

Saturday-Sunday: Morning appointments for Boarding guests’ exit baths and nail trims only (no walk-ins)
FAQs
While we certainly respect your decision to do what you feel is best for your pet, we cannot accept her as a boarding guest or a grooming client at The Island Pawplex unless she is completely flea free and adequately protected by a vet-recommended treatment such as Frontline, K9 Advantix, Comfortis, Nexguard, Trifexis, etc. Please follow directions for topical treatments such as Frontline and apply it the proper number of days ahead of time. It is vital that we protect all of our guests, as well as our grooming clients, which is why we do not offer flea dips or similar treatments at our pet salon.
